Because they sit perfectly flush, they do not disrupt the critical downward trajectory of the Laminar Air Flow (LAF) system. Furthermore, the IP65 sealed housing ensures that potent hospital fumigation chemicals and intense wash-downs will never penetrate the circuitry.

Resolving Laminar Air Flow Turbulence with Flush Lighting
A newly built specialty clinic was failing its NABH cleanroom validation tests. Smoke flow tests revealed that standard, bulky commercial LED panels installed in the OT ceiling were creating severe air turbulence. This turbulence was pulling non-sterile ambient air directly into the sterile surgical zone.
The Solution: We removed the commercial panels and retrofitted the ceiling with MedGenz Flush-Mounted IP65 Peripheral LED Panels. The perfectly flat aerodynamic profile allowed the Laminar Air Flow to travel downwards in a completely undisturbed "piston effect". The clinic passed their Class 100 validation test on the very next attempt, ensuring surgical safety.
