About the Project:
Shree Ram Hospital, with facilities in Rohini and Vikaspuri, Delhi, chose MedGenz India Pvt. Ltd. to build its modular operation theatres and medical gas pipeline system (MGPS). Both were designed, supplied and installed by one team.
The OT and the gas supply are the two systems a surgical team cannot afford to see fail. One needs a clean, controlled space. The other needs safe, uninterrupted gas at every point of use.
If you are looking for a modular OT contractor in Delhi NCR, or an MGPS installation company in India, this case study shows how we approached it.
What the Hospital Needed:
- Hygienic modular OTs that are easy to clean and maintain
- A safe, leak-tested medical gas supply to OTs and patient areas
- One agency for design, supply, installation and commissioning
- Installation on schedule, with minimal disruption to a working hospital
Scope of Work:
Modular Operation Theatre
- OT built with pre-engineered, seamless wall and ceiling panels
- Antistatic, chemical-resistant flooring
- Hermetically sealed OT doors
- HEPA-filtered air supply with laminar airflow and HVAC, as specified
- OT light, control panel, pass box and scrub station, as specified
Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS)
- Oxygen, medical air, vacuum and N₂O
- Medical-grade copper piping with certified brazing and pressure testing
- Bed head panels, zone valve boxes and audio-visual alarms
- Manifold / backup supply, as specified
Materials, specifications and responsibilities follow the project agreement. Hospitals planning a new OT can preview their layout in our 3D OT Studio.
How We Worked:
We started with the hospital’s needs: We discussed the surgeries planned, staff movement and the room’s position in the building.
We planned in detail: Panel layout, door positions, gas outlets and utility points were fixed on paper first.
We installed with care: Panels, flooring and copper piping were fitted with close attention to joints and brazing, since these decide long-term hygiene and safety.
We tested and handed over: Pipelines were pressure- and leak-tested, alarms were checked, and the OT was verified for readiness before the hospital team was trained on the systems.
Challenges We Kept in Mind:
Working at two sites in a busy city like Delhi means tight access, traffic and the need to avoid disturbing patient areas. We planned the delivery sequence in advance and used prefabricated panels made and checked in our facility, so there was less dust, noise and on-site construction.
What the Hospital Gets:
- A cleaner surgical environment: Sealed, seamless surfaces that are quick to wipe down
- Safe gas supply: Tested pipelines and alarms at every critical point
- One team, clear responsibility: Design, supply, installation and commissioning
- Faster, tidier installation: Less on-site mess and disruption
- Support after handover: See our AMC/CMC services
Actual outcomes depend on scope, site conditions and the project agreement.
Client Feedback:
MedGenz handled our modular OTs and medical gas pipeline system as one project across our Rohini and Vikaspuri hospitals. The work was clean and on schedule, and the team stayed in touch throughout. We appreciate their professionalism.

Conclusion:
The Shree Ram Hospital project shows that modular OTs and MGPS can be delivered together, across more than one site, without compromising on quality. We thank the Shree Ram Hospital team for trusting MedGenz with this work.
